2 C’anouch

Can means house in Catalan and Anouch is the nickname of one of the villa’s co-owners. C’anouch is an amalgamation of both.

The villa is managed under C’Anouch Villas SL and owned by a Swiss family.

3 Puig Redo hilltop

Puig Redo means “round hill” in Ibicenco (the island’s dialect). The hill top and its surroundings, including C’anouch, are a historical site and in a protected area. During the time of pirate attacks on Ibiza, this hill was a place from where smoke warning signals were sent across the island.
From the villa’s entrance it’s just a 10 minute walk over wild, rocky landscape to the top of Puig Redo, from where you can enjoy breathtaking 360 degree views.

4 Paintings

RA Superstar, an up and coming artist from LA, is the creator of most of the paintings in the villa. The owners met him by chance here in Ibiza and instantly fell in love with his colourful and inspirational style and perspective.

5 Surroundings

The garden is bursting with bougainvillaea, a typical Mediterranean plant with beautiful red and purple flowers. You’ll find it growing on the walls of the main entrance as well as the rockeries and at the entrance to the patio. You’ll also notice many laurels, another indigenous species. These flowers are in front of the house (behind the pooI) and along the upper part of the pathways. The most precious and well protected tree in Ibiza is called the “sabina” which you can find all around the property; foremost in the rockeries to the west of the main terrace, lining the patio and also behind (north) of the house. The trees on the neighbouring land, to the front of the house, are mainly pine trees.

6 Touristic License

C´anouch operates under the tourist licence registration number ETV-1081-E. This permits the rental of the villa. Guests can be assured of both ownership authenticity and quality standards.

7 Energy Efficiency

The villa is energy efficient and has well-insulated, sun-protected glass as well as insulated walls/ceilings, and solar panels to harness energy for hot water. It features an energy efficiency rating of A for its appliances and the fact it has low-consumption LED bulbs serving as outside lighting.

8 Health

8 Health

The villa has its own saltwater pool and comes with a set of natural soaps and creams. Ecologically friendly cleaning products are used whenever possible.
Water is scarce in Ibiza and contains a lot of limestone so an anti-lime stone filter has been fitted. In the kitchen there’s an osmosis filter which allows the water to be drinkable.

9 High Tech

The villa is equipped with a domotic system which enables guests to control all technical installations from one panel.
High speed internet and wifi is available throughout the house.
Smart TVs provide access to over 400 TV and radio channels in all major languages.
A state of the art Sonos music system allows you to listen to your favourite music from your Smart phone.
